Anthony David Gonzalez is a former American football tight end who was a part of the National Football League for 17 seasons. One of America's top tight ends ever He has the NFL record for the most receiving yards for any tight end. He is as the third-highest player in terms of number of receiving yards.
Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight-end with the Kansas City Chiefs as well as the Atlanta Falcons, is currently working in FOX's studio. Gonzalez is with FOX NFL KICKOFF for the past year, is the host for the show. It airs every Sunday at 11:15 am ET before FOX NFL SUNDAY.
Gonzalez's assertion that he would retire in the NFL at the end of 2013 is not the case. On the 15th of March 2013 Gonzalez signed with Falcons an agreement for two years worth 14 million dollars. Randy Moss retired in 2013, and Gonzalez, who was 37 when he left, was able to finish the final year of his career in the position of being the NFL leader for receiving yards.
